DOHA: Musical Arts Center of the Youth Center of the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage has announced the beginning of the registration for the admission of the musical courses. The course includes playing lute, violin, qanon, flute, guitar, piano, ceilio, drums, singing and rhythm, Arabic as well as Gulf one. In addition to, theories and history of Arabic and occidental musics, oriental and occidental soliphage and studying the musical notes are also included in the curricula.
The Head of the Musical Arts Center, Abdullah Mirza said that the center will help Qatari nationals in the registration and facilitate them, if they pass the first course the second course will be free for them. If the student passed the first course he will be granted the certificate of participation,. When he passed six courses he will be granted certificate of appreciation by the center in the convocation. The interested candidates male and female who are eight years old and above can apply for the course. The center will be open to receive the applications from 4pm to 8pm during the working days. The candidates will be admitted after a music test, Mirza said. The philosophical educational books are focusing on the importance of the music to build the personality of human being.
