Tareq Derbas appointed General Manager for the St. Regis Doha Hotel Monday, 22 November 2010 11:44
Doha - Tareq Derbas has been appointed General Manager of the St. Regis Doha Hotel expected to open its door in 2011a land mark in Qatar’s most beautiful city in the West Bay area of Doha.
A seasoned hotelier with more than 20 years of international experience, Derbas has held senior executive positions with some of the world’s finest luxury hotel brands including Four Seasons Hotels and Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
US citizen, born in Jordan, Derbas’s career path has since taken him from California and Chicago where his practical experience of the luxury hospitality industry began, to Muscat, Amman, Riyadh and Dubai. He moves to Doha from Amman where he was General Manager of Le Meridien Amman Hotel.
He comes to Doha with the philosophy “The key to the finest hotel service is an obsessive concern to details for those small indications of personal recognition and attention”. Derbas adds “a total commitment to guaranteeing the flawless and bespoke guest experience makes a fine hotel an extraordinary one”.
Steeped in Middle Eastern mystique, the St. Regis Doha presents seductive interiors styled in modern opulence by the Arabian Gulf’s tranquil blue, an ancient architecture paint a magnificent landscape.
The St. Regis Doha comprises of 336 guest rooms including 70 suites and will also offer approximately 5,000 square meters of meeting and conference space, a selection of exciting restaurants, lounges and bars, Remede Spa with direct beach access.

first of all i was began Merid Arcadia Hotel as a iron of the Loundry for 2 years,
and i worked Altis Golf hotel for 2 years as a iron of the Loundry
and i left for work Limak Limra and after i worked Xanadu hotel as a iron.
Well, after i was began in Kremlin Palace as a Laundry Chief.
So, i also worked in IC hotel laundry chief
and Rixos Group (Kemer, Premium) as a Landry Manager.
Well, now my last work place Cornelia Hotels & Resorts.

I’m working as a Laundry Manager in Cornelia Diamond Resort Hotels SPA. So, we’re working here together with my 50 staff in this laundry. Well is use a lot of wash machine, dry clean and etc.
