DOHA, QATAR – December 6, 2010 –.The Ritz-Carlton, Doha kicked off the holiday season with its annual tree lighting ceremony recently, welcoming more than 1,000 guests to this special occasion. With a 5.5-meter high Christmas tree decorated with 2,000 lights and 1,000 ornaments, the newly refurbished Grand Lobby was the perfect venue for the holiday celebration. No one is more excited to see the festive season’s events come to life than the hotel’s top leader.

Families enjoyed the slight winter chill off with hot chocolate and cookies as they listen to classic carols by the talented Ritz-Carlton Choir. Hotel guests and residents of Doha had the opportunity to donate for a good cause with all the proceeds benefiting Al Hiba Group for children with cancer.
