Six Senses Spa at Sharq Village & Spa appoints a new Spa Manager & dedicated Wellness Coordinator Monday, 06 December 2010 19:32
Doha, Qatar – 6 December, 2010: The winds of change are blowing at Six Senses Spa at Sharq Village & Spa, Doha with the appointment of a new Spa Manager and new dedicated Wellness Coordinator to the team.
Sofia Hedman replaces Patrick d’Heursel as Spa Manager, and brings with her a long and illustrious career with Six Senses Resorts & Spas having worked in various roles in the company for over 5 years. Those roles have included spa manager for Six Senses property Soneva Fushi in the Maldives, and also Regional Spa Trainer Asia where she looked after 9+ resorts implementing spa best practice, product training and spa management training.
Carina Lipold has been with the Six Senses Spa for 12 months and has taken on the challenge as Wellness Coordinator at Six Senses Spa at Sharq Village & Spa, Doha.
Carina has been a familiar face at the Six Senses Spa Doha as up until recently she has been the spa’s female fitness manager. Carina has taken her deep knowledge of all things fitness and wellness and is now providing help and support to the wellness journey of her guests.
In this new role as Wellness Coordinator, Carina will be able to dedicate her full attention to guests’ wellness assessments and be able to prescribe a course of wellness treatments to combat issues of obesity, healthy weight management, stress & programs targeted at achieving a balanced lifestyle.
Both Sofia and Carina’s international expertise is a welcome addition to the Six Senses Spa at Sharq Village & Spa team, and the wider community in Doha who ultimately benefit.
Their appointment solidifies the Six Senses commitment to expert wellness.
