Arab Engineering Bureau wins Consultancy of the Year Award Wednesday, 28 September 2011 03:00

Arab Engineering Bureau (AEB) received Consultancy of the Year Award at the inaugural Construction Week Qatar Awards in Doha. The awards ceremony was held at the Four Seasons Hotel on Monday, September 26, 2011.

The accolade was for AEB’s tribute to the developing Qatari construction market over the past 45 years.

Construction Week Awards Qatar judges commended AEB on its imitable portfolio and have described AEB as “an award-winning firm that does it all”.

Judges also emphasized on AEBs exponential growth in the last 20 years and noted in particular company’s long-term commitment to the development of the entire region.

Locally established, AEB, won over internationally renowned consultancies, proving that its quality of work and services company provides are ranked the best in the region despite the international competitors.

Ibrahim Jaidah, principal architect and managing director of AEB, received the award and emphasized on change in confidence in construction market since the World Cup 2022 was awarded to Qatar:

"The confidence of the private sector has changed in an amazing way. Since the announcement, many projects were told to go faster. So the mood is wonderful."

Jaidah concluded: “This award represents our company’s involvement and commitment to the developing construction market in Qatar.”
