Khalid Cement Industries Complex (KCIC) is a part of Qatar’s commendable growth and has embarked on ‘Go Green’ movement with sustainable and credible involvement in major landmark projects and relevant technological initiatives, such as  the “Sulphur Concrete Production Technology”, an initiative with Shell.

The company’s wider collaboration is creating new markets within Qatar for the utilisation of indigenous sulphur resources and to develop new processes for manufacturing pre-cast sulphur concrete products. The collaborations could contribute to reducing the environmental impact of many construction activities in Qatar, and provide new outlets for Qatar’s rapidly increasing sulphur production.
