Exhibitors at Project Qatar 2011, the largest in the country and the second largest building exhibition in the region, are optimistic of the success of the event on its third day yesterday.

The long stretch of vehicles leading to the Doha Exhibition Centre and the parking areas filled to the brim are an indication of the overwhelming response from visitors, some of whom coming from other neighbouring countries.

A total of 1,700 exhibitors from 47 countries are spread in the four halls of the exhibition centre.  Eight new countries have joined Project Qatar this year. They include Canada, Korea, Malaysia, Greece, India, Jordan, Syria and the USA. Project Qatar 2011 runs until today and is open from 4pm to 10pm.
