DOHA: Qatar will take on Oman in their first match of GCC U-23 Football Championship at the Aspire Academy today.
The championship ends on August 7. Other participating countries include Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
Qatari squad: Khalid Muftah, Ahmad Sufian, Saoud Al Khater, Mohammad Al Neil, Hamad Al Obaidi, Abdulkarim Al Ali, Daniya Goma, Murad Nagi, Nasser Nabil, Mahdi Ali, Abdulaziz Al Ansari, Ziyab Al Enabi, Ali Assad, Muanad Naem, Abdullah Hatem, Abdullah Al Eraimi, Mohammad Kharis, Saoud Khamis and Abdulkarim Hassan.
