DOHA: Vodafone has introduced a new range of prices for the introductory starter broadband Internet service package at The Pearl-Qatar.
Vodafone was waiting for their billing structures to be in place to introduce the different packages, but have now decided to give customers the option to choose which plan suits their needs.
The choice of three plans which will be valid for the next 12 months are: QR220 for 2Mbit/s, QR330 for 3Mbit/s, and QR550 for 5Mbit/s. However, customers will be billed QR220 and receive 5Mbit/s regardless of the package they choose until the end of October 2010.
“We have listened to our customers, which is why we have changed our introductory offer and released our 12-month price plan offers for Internet services at The Pearl-Qatar. We believe this is the best solution for all The Pearl-Qatar’s residents and welcome further customer feedback that continues to help us deliver solutions that suit customers’ needs in the future,” said Grahame Maher, Vodafone Qatar’s CEO.
“More so, once indoor coverage for mobile is in place, The Pearl-Qatar’s residents will also be able to use all of our current Mobile Broadband packages of all sizes and prices,” added Maher. To enable residents to sign up, a Vodafone Mobile Retail Store will be at The Pearl-Qatar until July 31, and any customer who has already signed up will be refunded the price difference.
The store is parked in the service road next to Tower 4, off the boardwalk and is open from 5pm to 11pm, Sunday to Thursday and from 3pm to 11pm, Friday and Saturday. For more information on Vodafone Broadband, The Pearl-Qatar’s residents can call the Vodafone Customer Service Centre at 111 from their Vodafone mobile or 8007111 from other phones. The Peninsula
