DOHA: Qatar Airways has signed a one-year corporate travel agreement with Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), confirming the airline as a key travel partner for KNPC executives.

As part of the agreement, employees of KNPC will fly Qatar Airways on short-haul and long-haul routes to destinations within the region and as far afield as the United States and Europe.

Qatar Airways Senior Vice President Commercial – Arabian Peninsula, Iran, the Levant and Yemen, Ali Al Rais, and KNPC Deputy Chairman and Deputy Managing Director, Asaad Al Asaad, met in Kuwait City to officially sign the agreement.

“We are pleased to be entering into this landmark partnership to provide corporate travel services to one of Kuwait’s most established institutions. Qatar Airways looks forward to extending the airline’s Five Star hospitality to each passenger travelling with us,” said Al Rais.

Qatar Airways flies to and from Kuwait 28 times-a-week, providing excellent connections across an extensive route map of over 90 key business and leisure destinations spanning Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, North and South America.

Among the award-winning airline’s destinations from Doha are daily non-stop flights to Houston, Washington, New York, Sao Paulo and Melbourne.

Over the next two months, the airline’s growth focuses on Europe with four new destinations being introduced–Bucharest (January 17), Budapest (January 17), Brussels (January 31), and Stuttgart (March 6), before launching its 100th network point to the Syrian city of Aleppo on April 6.
