Qatar Red Crescent sends aid to Somalia

Doha: The Qatar Red Crescent Society has extended emergency food assistance to families affected by famine in Somalia, as part of Qatari relief efforts.
The Society said in a press release that a team specialised in relief and disaster management arrived in southern Somalia to provide emergency food items to about 250 families affected by disaster. The items include rice, sugar, flour, oil, and dates. QNA
