DOHA: Qtel has increased the number of religious channels available to customers of its Mozaic TV service as it recognised the demand for Islamic content is particularly strong during the holy month of Ramadan.
A total of four channels have been added to the Prime Arabic and Prime Asia packages free of charge – the Arabic language channels Al Resalah, Al Afasy, Al Rahmah and Huda TV, which is available in English.
The addition of new Islamic channels to the core packages on Mozaic TV means that all customers now have access to the widest range of religious channels.
Qtel has also made a number of religious channels that were previously available on the Prime Arabia package also available to Prime Asia customers. The Iqraa Channel, Peace TV, Al Majd Space, Al Majd Holy Quran and Al Majd Hadeeth Al Nabawi have all been added to the Prime Asia package free of charge.
All the additional new channels will be accessible for Mozaic TV customers until the end of this month.
As an added treat to the entertainment and educational options, Qtel is screening Al Watanyia Channel for free on the Prime Arabia and Prime Asia packages.
Al Watanyia Channel includes seven popular Arabic TV series – Al Jileeb, Al Forsa Al Thaniya, Sahir Al Layali 2, Samaa’ Thaniya, Al Hob La Yakfi Ahyanan, Adam and Kayd Al Nisaa’ – as well as a daily, 10-minute religious show that air before the Maghrib prayers. The Peninsula
