Top French jewellery brand relocates to Lagoona Monday, 26 December 2011 05:14

DOHA: The House of Boucheron has shifted its boutique from Sharq Village and Spa to the Lagoona Mall, situated in the heart of Doha’s West Bay community.

The new 120-square metre boutique is the third flagship store in the Middle East, the other two being in Beirut and Dubai. The store’s neighbours include the department store 51 East, a luxury retail division of Darwish Holding, Boucheron’s partner in Qatar.

The 153-year old French jeweller Boucheron boutique’s welcoming atmosphere and luxurious environment evoke the design of the Parisian Place Vendôme flagship. Boucheron’s signature colour palette of aubergine and gold as well as its wooden décor served as an inspiration for the interior design in order to provide an elegant yet convivial space that is both inviting and intimate at the

same time.

Among the creations that can be discovered at the boutique are the House’s unique and exceptional high jewellery creations, its emblematic bijoux and jewellery collections, such as Quatre, Ava and Serpent and timepieces among which can be found Boucheron’s iconic Reflet watches first created in 1947, featuring a system of interchangeable watch straps.

Also available in Doha from now on is the elephant-inspired watch Crazy Jungle Hathi, which recently won the Prix de la Montre Dame (Women’s Watch Award) at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève. Along with other animal-inspired pieces from the famous Cabinet of Curiosities, it is an example of Boucheron’s creative audacity, savoir-faire and standard of excellence, which together contribute to the House’s success since its creation in 1858.

Boucheron currently operates over 50 boutiques worldwide and continues its growth through the development of its points of sales on an international scale with its differentiating panache and elegance.
