Fulfillment of the trust Wednesday, 17 August 2011 03:06

By Ramzi Al Saeed

A Muslim, in the month of Ramadan, is very keen to comply with the directives of religion and its teachings to be rewarded with what Allah has prepared for His faithful slaves. He preserves the values of Islam and its manners, and one of the basic values of Islam is  fulfillment of the trust, and it is a commitment of human being to carry out the commandments of Allah and worship Him in the manner prescribed by Him, being sincere in religion, as well as it is a commitment to carry out the rights of the people without any doubts,  as you would like the people to carry out your rights in a good manner in the way they want you to carry their rights without any default. So the concern about fulfilling of trust is a must, the human being should  abide by it generally, as it leads to one goal, and that is to fulfill the trust according to the demands of the situations, the trust may mean to maintain a thing that is deposited with the person, as it may mean maintaining the covenant in the general cases, just like an employee who performs his duty diligently and faithfully, one of the highlighted meanings of the trust is to engage in the worship of Allah Almighty, and therefore in many of the directives of the Holy Quran, revealed for all Muslims to maintain the fulfillment of the trusts to their owners.  The worship of Allah Almighty and architecture of the universe to the satisfaction of Allah Almighty as the goal of human existence is a trust that every human being should fulfill, there is no comfort in the life, no matter how much facilities and means of prosperity, and pleasures are there, till the human being feels the security from misfortunes, and safety from evil and till he enjoys in wide shadow of security so that the hearts can rest in peace, this can only happen with sincere belief in Allah, and with carrying out trusts entrusted to the people. The trust is the mother of all virtues and the source of tranquility and is one of most prominent signs of faith, and signs of piety; faith itself is a trust of a person, there is no faith for those who do not have trust, and no religion for those who do not have covenant, thus no wonder, the Apostles of Allah are selected from the honest people in nature and the best in type, they keep virtues and preserve the rights of Allah and rights of other people, and this task requires a certain attitude that does not change for different days, and the Apostles were persons of trust, as one of the best qualities of our Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, is honesty, that’s why you will find prophet’s keenness for his Ummah, to raise them on the virtues and good manners, so among the meanings of trust for a person is to strive on the performance of his duty fully in the work entrusted to him, and to do his best in the completion of his work and he should have his focus on his job and take care of his proficiency. Islam has imposed on Muslims to adopt the manner of trust, and forbidden them to walk in paths of treason, whoever is trustworthy will be obedient to Allah in his Islam, and who will be traitor will be sinner in the sight of Allah in his Islam.

To observe the trust is one of great qualities of a Muslim that shows his religion and ensures his faith, it is a great virtue and the greatest responsibility, and a great value from the values of true religion, which preserves the rights and duties from the loss, it is the duty that Muslims recommend each other to sponsor it, and they seek help of Allah to observe it, Allah commanded His believing slaves to maintain the trust and  to return it to its owners, and that they should judge between people in the evaluation of their actions and their behavior with justice, Allah Almighty  says (Indeed Allah commands you to return trusts to their owners), that’s why our religion urges us that every Muslim should have a awake conscience, by which the rights of Allah and the rights of the people can be maintained, and the works can be guarded from the reasons of negligence and neglect, thus the teachings of Islam obliged on Muslims to be honest, and the trust in the view of the true religion is wide significance, it symbolizes many meanings having one context, that is a person’s sense of his responsibility in every matter entrusted to him, and his firm awareness that he is accountable before Allah Almighty.  The peninsula
