Quote of the day
I will do everything I can in my position to convince the Greeks to choose to stay in the euro zone and everything to convince Europeans....Shame shame Sunday, 06 June 2010 13:19
Shameful is too mild a word to describe what happened at sea off Gaza early yesterday when volunteers from around the world bringing succour to the besieged Gazans were attacked by Israeli forces and nine of them killed. The outrage all over the world has been both immediate and strong. The Israelis are unlikely to get off the hook easily this time around. But what makes Tel Aviv trample on world opinion with such disdain? Let’s put that to shame.
Shame on the double standards of the keepers of world order that allows Israel to get away with murder.
Shame on a world that, despite protestations, tolerates such disregard for human life.
Shame on all who can, but do not, bring the Israeli regime to book.
