Jeddah: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia in Al-Salam Royal Palace in Jeddah today.
During the meeting, they reviewed the strong fraternal relations and means of developing and strengthening them for the interest of both countries and peoples. The official delegation accompanying the Emir attended the meeting.
From the Saudi side, the meeting was attended by Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Crown Prince, Second Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Adviser to King Salman and Governor of Makkah Region Prince Khalid Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, a number of princes and ministers.
The Emir attended a luncheon banquet hosted by King Salman in honor of him and the accompanying delegation.
The Emir was welcomed on arrival at the King Abdulaziz International Airport by Prince Khalid Al Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, President of General Authority for Sport in Saudi Arabia Mohammed Abdul Malik Al Sheikh, Ambassador of Qatar to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Abdullah bin Thamer Al Thani and the Qatari Embassy staff.
The Emir left Jeddah later in the afternoon after the meeting.
