Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Interior (MoI) warned motorists against the improper use of high-beam headlights, stressing that the practice can distract other drivers, increase the risk of accidents and violate traffic regulations.

In a social media post, the Ministry said high-beam lights can affect the vision and concentration of other motorists, particularly when driving at night.
“Improper use of high-beam headlights is a dangerous behaviour that can cause accidents and violates traffic regulations,” the Ministry said.

It urged motorists to use headlights responsibly and remain considerate of other road users to help ensure their own safety and that of others.
