Occupied Jerusalem: Hundreds of colonists stormed the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from the Mughrabi gate, heavily guarded by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF).
The Islamic Waqf Authority in the occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds) said that a total of 232 colonists stormed Al-Aqsa, carried out provocative tours in its courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals in the eastern part of the mosque.
The IOF tightened their military procedures on the entry of Palestinian worshippers into the mosque, and confiscated their IDs at its outer gates.
These incursions are part of the occupation's efforts to obliterate Al-Quds' Islamic and historical identity and threaten Islamic sovereignty over Al-Aqsa Mosque.
