Qatar participated in the second meeting of the GCC Ministerial Committee for Standardization Affairs, convened yesterday through video conferencing.
The State’s delegation was chaired by H E Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Minister of Commerce and Industry and Acting Minister of Finance.
The meeting featured the participation of their Excellencies the Ministers members of the GCC Ministerial Committee for Standardization Affairs, the heads of the standardization bodies in GCC states, H E Saud bin Nasser Al Khusaibi, President of GCC Standardization Organization (GSO), and Engineer Mohammed bin Saud Al Musallam, Chairman of Qatar General Organization for S t a n d a r d i z a t i o n a n d Metrology.
During this meeting, appropriate decisions were taken on several issues of common interest.
