Kalyan Jewellers wins Superbrands 2016 title

Doha: Kalyan Jewellers, the GCC’s trusted and leading jewellery brand, has won the Superbrands title for 2016 emerging as the region’s most innovative and customer centric retailer.
Mike English, Chairman, Superbrands Council and Director of Superbrands ME, felicitated Kalyan Jewellers Head of Overseas Operations, N R Venkatraman at a specially organised award ceremony at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dubai Festival Centre.
Chairman and Managing Director of Kalyan Jewellers, TS Kalyanaraman said, “Winning the Superbrands title in just over two years of our operations in the GCC is highly encouraging. We have always underscored the principle that our customers are the cornerstones of all our initiatives.”
Kalyan Jewellers has developed a deep connect among its customers with its brand promise of ‘Trust is Everything’.
The brand has also won the Best Retailer Award at the 20th edition of Global Village recently. Currently the brand has a customer base of over 2.8 million. This combined with the brand’s relentless focus on quality, innovation and transparent pricing makes brand Kalyan a compelling proposition.
Kalyan has been rapidly expanding its distribution operations, both in India and West Asia and had made an emphatic entry into the GCC by launching six showrooms in the UAE, seven showrooms in Qatar and three showrooms in Kuwait.
All the launches happened on a single day in the respective markets between 2013 and 2016. Kalyan Jewellers now has 100 showrooms spread across India and Middle East.
