Goiania: Team Brazil has qualified for the semi-finals of Copa America 2021 after defeating Chile.
Lucas Paqueta's goal in the 47th minute sees the defending champion beats Chile 1-0. Brazil was reduced to 10 men right after Paqueta's goal and did well to stave off the relentless Chilean attack.
The host nation will play Peru, who punched their semi-final ticket Friday after beating Paraguay 4-3 on penalities.
The remaining quarter-finals will be played on Saturday, when Argentina take on Ecuador and Uruguay face Colombia.
