Doha, Qatar: Minister of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), H E Mohammed bin Ali bin Mohammed Al Mannai, held a series of high-level bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the first day of Web Summit Qatar 2026. 

The meetings aimed to enhance international cooperation, exchange expertise, and explore strategic partnership opportunities in the fields of digital transformation and innovation.

Discussions focused on advancing collaboration in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, digital infrastructure, and digital skills development, in addition to exchanging views on global trends in emerging technologies and their applications within the public sector.

In a related context, the Minister conducted a tour of the Web Summit Qatar 2026 exhibition, where he reviewed the latest technological innovations and digital solutions on display. 

The tour included the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s booth, which showcases key national initiatives in digital transformation, as well as several local booths, including Ooredoo, Qatar Science & Technology Park, and Hamad Bin Khalifa University.

The Minister also visited the booths of leading global technology companies, including Google Cloud, Microsoft, Huawei, and Quantinuum.
