Doha: The Ethiopian Community International School in Doha recently graduated its first batch of KG2 pupils. They will be joining Grade 1 in the next academic year (2021-2022).
The school welcomed its first-ever students in September 2020.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Ethiopian Ambassador to Qatar H E Samia Zekaria, school board administrative members, and parents. During the event, the top students in each grade were presented with trophies and certificates of achievement. The ambassador said that graduation was a significant milestone in the lives of the kids and the institution. The school’s management board chairperson Aminu Nuru also congratulated the graduates and thanked the organisers.
In November last year, the Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Dr. Mohammed Abdulwahed Al Hammadi, in attendance with the Ethiopian Ambassador to Qatar Samia Zekaria, officially inaugurated the school.
