Doha: The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani held on Wednesday via telephone a conversation with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Republic of Lebanon HE Charbel Wehbe.
During the call, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed the condolences of the government and people of the State of Qatar on the victims of the explosion in Beirut Port, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
HE the Foreign Minister expressed the solidarity of the State of Qatar with Lebanon and its full readiness to provide all kinds of assistance necessary to mitigate the effects of this explosion.
HE the Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants thanked the State of Qatar for its solidarity and continuous support for Lebanon.
