SC supports third annual Autism Outreach symposium

Qatar’s Child Development Center (CDC) announced that the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) as its partner for the organisation’s third Annual Autism Outreach and Training Symposium.
The symposium, held at the QNCC, brought together a consortium of internationally recognized experts in the fields of autism and related disorders. Over 160 delegates from 60 different nationalities attended the event, representing the leading international schools, nurseries and doctors. It also provided an opportunity for important dialogue to identify the local needs of autistic children and their families.
A range of speakers, led by keynote speaker, Dr VIncent Carbone (Ed. D, BCBA-D) and Dr. Fouad Al Shaban (MD, MSc, PhD), Senior Scientist at Qatar Biomedical Research Institute, discussed the salient trends and challenges facing professional institutions and parents.
Nasser Al Khater, the SC’s Assistant Secretary General, Tournament Affairs, said: "Our ambition of fostering inclusiveness to leave a social legacy is reflected by an initiative such as this one organised by the Qatar Child Development Centre. "
