Doha: The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs H E Dr Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah met on Thursday with a delegation of US Congress led by Congressman Ted Deutch, Member of the US House of Representatives’ Foreign Affairs Committee, currently visiting Doha.
The meeting addressed a number of topics of mutual interest to the two sides, in addition to the strategic relations between the State of Qatar and the US and means to bolster these relations. The meeting also dealt with the latest regional developments, most importantly the situation in Libya and Qatar’s efforts in Gaza.
