Doha, Qatar: Qatar has launched the 6th Recycling Towards Sustainability Conference & Exhibition 2026, bringing together senior officials, industry leaders and sustainability experts as the country steps up efforts to expand recycling and accelerate its transition towards a circular economy.
The conference opened at Raffles Doha under the patronage and in the presence of Minister of Municipality HE Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah and runs through October 7.
The event features specialised sessions and an exhibition showcasing the latest technologies, products and innovative solutions in recycling and sustainability. Discussions focus on the circular economy, innovation, artificial intelligence and investment opportunities.
The conference reflects Qatar’s efforts to develop an integrated and sustainable waste-management system, promote recycling industries and strengthen cooperation between the government, private sector and academic and research institutions in line with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
