Doha: Director of Doha Municipality, Eng. Jamal Matar Al Nuaimi, met with Mayor of Canada’s Halifax Regional Municipality and President of the World Energy Cities Partnership (WECP), Michael Savage, and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting Doha.

The delegation will visit several institutions in the country as part of boosting the relations in the field of energy, scientific research and culture, and to reaffirm the value of Doha’s membership to WECP.

During the meeting, Eng. Al Nuaimi presented a briefing on the sustainable urban development happening in Doha. For his part, the mayor presented a number of WECP achievements, programs and future and strategic plans.
