Speaker of the Shura Council H E Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud with Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of Sudan, H E Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, yesterday.
Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council of the Republic of Sudan, H E Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah Al Burhan, met yesterday at his residence with Speaker of the Shura Council H E Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud.
They reviewed bilateral relations and ways to support and develop them in the parliamentary and legislative field. The Chairman of the Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council expressed his country’s appreciation for the great role that the State of Qatar has played for peace, development and reconstruction in Darfur.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of Qatar to Sudan H E Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Kubaisi, and Ambassador of Sudan to Qatar H E Abd Al Rahim Al Siddig Mohammed.
