Ministry of Transport records 2,632 maritime transactions in third quarter

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Transport recorded 2,632 transactions during the third quarter of 2026, covering a range of services related to maritime certification, vessel registration and foreign vessels operating in Qatar’s territorial waters.

According to the Maritime Transport Affairs the services included the issuance and accreditation of Certificates of Competency (C.O.C.) for safe manning, naval architects and marine officers.

The Maritime Transport Affairs also provided services related to maritime vessels, including ownership transfers, registration and renewal of vessel registrations.

Services for foreign vessels engaged in operations in Qatar’s waters included updating vessel data and renewing relevant registrations.
