Doha, Qatar: The Primary Health Care Corporation, PHCC, announced that it has decided to operate 21 health centers out of the total 31 during the National Sports Day holiday, Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
The operating health centers during this holiday will continuously provide family medicine and supportive services from 7am to 11pm in the centers of Al Wakrah, Al Mashaf, Al Thumama, Al Matar (Airport), Rawdat Al Khail, Omar Bin Al Khattab, Al Sadd, West Bay, Al Ruwais, Al Khor, Al Laqib, Umm Salal, Al Gharafa (Al Rayyan), Madinat Khalifa, Abu Bakr Al Siddiq, Al Rayyan, Mesaimeer, Muaither, Al Shahaniya, and Al Wajba, PHCC highlighted.
It added that dental clinic services in those centers will operate from 7am to 10pm, while Al Jumailiya Health Center is set to operate on a 24-hour on-call basis.
The corporation noted that South Wakra, Umm Ghuwailina, Al Waab, Abu Nakhla, Umm Al Seneem, Al Ghuwayriyah, Al Daayen, and Qatar University Health Centers will be closed during this holiday, while Al Kaaban and Al Karaana Health Centers will receive urgent cases for adults.
In essence, PHCC provides urgent care services 24 hours a day at 13 health centers during the holiday, namely: Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Al Sheehaniya, Abu Baker Al Siddiq, Rawdat Al Khail, Al Kaaban, Al Karaana, Al Ruwais, Umm Slal, Leabaib, Muaither, Al Mashaf, Al Sadd, and Al Wajbah.
Meanwhile, seven health centers will receive urgent cases for children: Al Ruwais, Umm Slal, Leabaib, Muaither, Al Mashaf, Al Sadd, and Al Wajbah.
It further recalled that specialty clinics will be available according to appointments scheduled in advance for patients during the morning and evening sessions.
The Eye, Dermatology, and ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) clinics will operate at Leabaib and Rawdat Al Khail Health Centers from 7am to 2pm, and during the evening session from 4pm to 10pm.
As for the Premarital Medical Check-up Clinic, the service will be available at Leabaib Health Center from 7am to 2pm, and in the evening session at Al Mashaf Health Center from 4pm. to 10pm.
The Community Call Center 16000 continues to provide medical consultation services via telephone 24 hours a day.
Regarding the delivery of medicines, the corporation will suspend this service on Tuesday and resume operations on Wednesday.
