London, United Kingdom: Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi met today in London with HE Hamish Falconer, UK Minister for the Middle East and North Africa at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office; HE Chris Elmore, UK Minister of State for Multilateral Affairs, Human Rights, Latin America and the Caribbean; and HE Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth.
During the meetings, the participants reviewed cooperation relations between Qatar and the United Kingdom and discussed ways to strengthen and enhance them.
They also discussed the latest developments in the Middle East and Latin America, in addition to a number of issues of mutual interest.
The officials reaffirmed the importance of promoting dialogue, mediation, and the peaceful settlement of disputes, as well as strengthening multilateral cooperation to support international peace and security and reinforce the principles of peace and sustainable development.
