Cairo: Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty and his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, held a telephone conversation Sunday to discuss regional developments.
The conversation centered on the importance of ramping up efforts toward de-escalation and reaching enduring and comprehensive understandings that strengthen regional security and stability.
Both ministers also shared perspectives on regional security arrangements that would promote security and stability in the region.
In addition, the two sides addressed developments in the Palestinian cause and underscored the importance of an immediate cessation of the escalation in the occupied territories.
