Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) has announced the acceptance of students for the Fall of 2020 semester, with most Qatari national students who submitted and met the criteria of admission.
DI said the total number of students admitted to the 2020 Fall semester reached 279 students out of 10,000 applications submitted form all Arab countries and some Western countries. The admitted students are distributed in 17 Master Programs, with 208 students that will join the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, and 71 students that will join the School of Public Administration and Development Economics.
The Department of Admission, Registration and Student Services said that Qatari students have the highest number admitted with 79 students in various programs for the upcoming academic year. Confirming that all students have been interviewed and passed through several indicators including students’ abilities, skill levels, the experience in the field students wish to join, the Arabic and English fluency and the extent of students’ contribution to serving society. Also, all submitted applications were examined and verified.
It is worth noting that DI announced the graduation of 153 students in the fourth cohort last May 2020, where the new admitted students for the Fall of 2020 semester represents the sixth cohort of accepted students.
