Ta’allum CEO Ahmed Al Mannai
Doha: Ta’allum Academies reported unprecedented success in this year’s external results for IGCSE, AS and BTEC continuing the upward trend of their rapidly rising results. This year saw the best set of results for Ta’allum students, showing that they can compete with the brightest students internationally.
They performed at levels well above international norms in most subjects, with outstanding performances noted in the core subjects, English, Arabic, Maths and Science, as well across many optional subjects.
Centre Assessed Grades, IGCSE, AS and BTEC results for Summer 2020 were undoubtedly different this year, but Ta’allum’s Director of Education, Dr. Mohammed Saefan, was determined to stress that some things remained the same.
“These excellent results reflect, as they always have, years of hard work and dedication. Our students, their families and teachers should be rightly proud of their achievements. The grades are hard won results, that reflect the hours of studying and learning that our students have invested,” said Dr. Saefan.
Ta’allum CEO, Ahmed Al Mannai said: “These results reflect a culmination of learning over a number of years and as such I’d like to thank our KG and Primary schools for laying the foundations for this and our parents for the love and support they have provided – especially during the last few months of exceptional uncertainty. Congratulations to the class of 2020. I know you have exciting futures ahead; And let us know all about your successes in the future so that your stories can inspire the next generation of Ta’allum students.”
For Thanaweyah, all three schools achieved their highest ever pass rates with AMAG 98% and AJA 96% respectively, whilst AMAB achieved a 100% success rate for the 3rd year in succession. More than 70% of grades across the three schools were in the highest bracket at A-C. Ta’allum will be offering students 2- year A level courses.
