Doha Mums Summer Market

Music, arts, summer market, Ramadan Bazar and lots more. There is no dearth of events scheduled to happen in Doha, Qatar. 

Doha Mums Summer Market 

Wanting to shop for gift items, jewellery, artwork, clothing, hand-crafted items, or Qatar souvenirs? This is the summer market that you could head to. Taking place at Radisson Blu Hotel on Salwa Road Intersection, there will be about 90 vendors with some from Dubai as well.

When: May 14, 11am to 4pm (those wanting to avoid crowds can opt to pay QR50 to shop between 10am to 11am.)

Mozart's Clarinet Concerto

For the music lovers in Qatar, Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will be organising the Mozart's Clarinet Concerto at Opera House in Katara Cultural Village.

UB40 Live in Doha 

One of the world’s most iconic reggae pop bands, UB40 will give their Qatar live debut at Doha’s InterContinental Doha Beach (West Bay Lagoon) on Friday, May 13, 2016. Grab the best seats before its too late.

Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Doha

The second season of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week promises to be a grander and bigger events in Doha. Innovative and creative designers from Qatar and GCC region will stage their creations.

Moving Young Artists Concert

Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl Doha in partnership with Moving Young Artists have created a platform to support local young talents in pursuit of their artistic dreams. Eight talented aspiring artists Mia Park Torchinsky, William McChesney, Nicole Ng, Tricia Ng, David Sztankov, Lizzie Dijkstra, Hala Al Emadi and Ella Pyne will weave their magic with musical instruments at the grand lobby of Marsa Malaz Kempinski.

Ramadan Bazaar 2016

Sri Lankan Majlis Qatar (SLMQ) will host Ramadan Bazaar 2016 tomorrow at Stafford Sri Lankan School Doha. Apart from shoppping, there will be a free medical camp, kids zone, games and various other fun activities for the entire family.

Aspire Basketball Open League

In continuation of the ongoing season for the Aspire Basketball Open League invites game enthusiasts for a fun league match. male teams members over the age of 17 can register after paying a registration fee of QR50 per player. If not for participating, join to pick your favourite team and cheer the players.   

While you are there you could check out the Maqtoora Market at Aspire Park to be held till May 14 from 5pm to 10pm.

Second Palestinian Heritage Festival  

The second edition of the Palestinian Heritage festival will conclude this weekend on May 14. The aim of this event is to introduce the Palestinian identity and its roots to people. Folk performances of Palestinian popular heritage, songs, debkah dance, popular fashion and food will be presented at the event.
