Doha: In collaboration with the Electronic Recycling Factory and the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA), Istidama Consulting Company has organized a webinar to highlight the importance of treating and recycling hazardous waste like e-waste.
The virtual event was organized recently entitled “Electronic Waste Management and Recycling.” Participants included speakers and experts in this field.
Speaking at the event Eng. Bodour Al Meer, Sustainability Director at the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, said that the global sustainability standards applied by the SC in preparation for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 would change the planning and orgainsation of major sports tournaments in the future.
Around 200 officials and experts in environment and climate change issues participated in the symposium from various countries.
