Qatar to host Asian Indoor Athletics Championship

Doha: The Qatar Athletics Federation (QAF) is gearing up once again to organize the Asian Indoor Athletics Championship from 19-21 February 2016 in Doha, according to a press release quoted by Qatar Olympic Committee website.
Eight years after the Aspire Dome staged the continental event for the first time, the seventh edition, which has assumed great significance from athletes' point of view, will take place from February 19 to 21, 2016.
The Qatar Athletics Federation and Asian Athletics Association President Dahlan Jumaan Al Hamad confirmed that QAF has completed all managerial and technical arrangements to host the event.
According to QAF, over 450 athletes from 36 nations and about 600 officials are expected in the three-day championship.
