DOHA: Qatar, represented by the Organising Committee for National Day celebrations in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Sports, will participate in the national celebrations of the State of Kuwait by organising various cultural, traditional, artistic and sporting events.
The Qatari participation comes under the supervision and organisation of the Qatar Cultural and Heritage Center, which includes many big events which will be held in cooperation with a number of partners, including the Culture and Arts Department.
These cultural, heritage, media, heritage and sporting events contribute to the depth of Qatar’s heritage, its historical ties with Kuwait.
The first event will be held at the Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Heritage Village in the traditional heritage of the Gulf from February 14 until March 2, 2019. The second event will take place in the Mrouj area from February 21 to February 26, 2019.
The events, to be held under the activities of the village of ‘popular heritage’, will include seven different cultural and heritage activities. These events are divided into indoor events in the Qatari pavilion and outdoor events in the square of the village of the popular heritage.
