Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Defense of State of Qatar announced at around 1:34am on March 14, 2026 that the armed forces intercepted missile attack which targeted State of Qatar.
Meanwhile, earlier before the attack, the Ministry of Interior announced that the relevant authorities are evacuating a number of specified areas as a temporary precautionary measure, in the interest of public safety until the threat has subsided.
In other parts of the Gulf area, the Saudi Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that two drones were intercepted and destroyed in Eastern Region while the Kuwait National Guard announced Friday evening the downing of a drone in the country's airspace.

Drones cause damage, injuries near US base in Kuwait: Ministry
Kuwait City: Two drones targeted an airbase in Kuwait housing US military staff, injuring Kuwaiti personnel and causing damage, the defence ministry said on Saturday.
"Three members of the armed forces sustained minor injuries" after the attack on Ahmed Al-Jaber Air Base, spokesperson Brigadier General Saud Al-Otaibi said in a statement. The base is near Camp Arifjan, a major US facility.

UAE strongly condemns targeting of its consulate in Iraq’s Kurdish region
The United Arab Emirates has “strongly condemned and denounced the unprovoked drone attack that targeted the UAE Consulate General in Kurdistan Region of Iraq for the second time in a week. The attack resulted in injuries to two security personnel and damage to the consulate building”.
In a statement, its Foreign Ministry said the attack represents “a dangerous escalation and a threat to regional security and stability”.
“The UAE called upon the governments of the Republic of Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional Government to investigate the circumstances of this attack to identify those responsible and to take all necessary measures to ensure that the perpetrators are held accountable,” it said.
