MoI reiterates importance of wearing masks in enclosed places and shopping centres

Doha: Ministry of Interior in a social media post reminded citizens and residents the importance of following Covid-19 precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus pandemic. 

“Please adhere to the necessary safety measures to prevent the Coronavirus especially wearing a face mask to protect you and others while mingling with others,” MoI said in a tweet

“Adherence to the precautionary measures is a social responsibility, it further added.

“Wearing a face-mask protects you and others from the risk of #Coronavirus especially in enclosed spaces and shopping centres. It also reflects your commitment to public safety.,” MoI said.

MoI has been referring people who fail to wear a mask, where it is mandatory, to Public Prosecution. In the last three days more than 400 people were caught without mask.
