The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs has announced they will provide food baskets to 1035 needy families for three months starting from April 14, 2020.
The food baskets will be provided through Hifz Al Naema Center, a Qatari food saving social organization to the beneficiaries of the centre, said the Ministry in a press release.
The Center depended primarily on social events as it collects the surplus foods to distribute among needy people. By suspending social gatherings the activity of the centre was about to stop.
But, with the immediate interfere by the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs helped in extending its services to 1035 needy families during next three months.
