Athens: Qatar International Search and Rescue Group of the Internal Security Force “Lekhwiya” has concluded its search and rescue operations in the sites affected by fires in the Hellenic Republic.
Secretary-General of the Ministry of Citizen Protection of Greece Vassilios Papageorgiou, during a meeting with Commander of Qatar International Search and Rescue Group Lieutenant-Colonel Abdullah Eid Al Mohannadi and a group of senior officers, expressed thanks and appreciation to the Amir, government and people of the State of Qatar for the support and assistance in the fire-fighting operations in his country.
He praised the efforts of the Qatar International Search and Rescue Group and the Civil Defence Group of the Interior Ministry in those operations.
