Doha: Egypt stands in full solidarity with the State of Qatar and its sisterly nations in confronting the heinous Israeli aggression, said President of the Arab Republic of Egypt HE Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Addressing the Emergency Arab-Islamic Summit in Doha on Monday, His Excellency condemned the Israeli aggression on Doha as a grave violation of the international law and the UN Charter, describing it as a dangerous precursor and a threat to the Arab and Islamic national security.

There is an unequivocal confirmation that this aggression clearly lays bare that the Israeli practices had transgressed every single political and military logic, along with all red lines, His Excellency underlined.

He expressed his condemnation, in the strongest terms, of this Israeli aggression against the sovereignty and security of an Arab nation, which has been undertaking a pivotal role in Gaza ceasefire mediation efforts, alongside Egypt and the United States, to end the war and the unprecedented tribulation facing the brotherly Palestinian people.

Israel's reckless conduct, which destabilizes regional security, threatens to broaden the scope of conflict, and push the region into a dangerous spiral of escalation, can neither be accepted nor met with silence, El-Sisi warned.

He called on the international community to shoulder its moral and legal responsibilities to ensure these aggressions are not repeated and to bring an end to Israel's brutal war. This, he stressed, requires holding accountable those responsible for flagrant violations and putting an end to the prevailing state of impunity in the face of Israeli practices.

El-Sisi affirmed that it has become crystal clear that the aggressive course pursued by the Israeli side carries a deliberate intent to sabotage every single chance of achieving de-escalation and reaching a deal that would guarantee an enduring ceasefire and the release of hostages and prisoners.

This posture, he stressed, betrays the absence of any political will on Israel's part to move seriously toward establishing peace in the region, highlighting that Israel's recklessness and its swelling arrogance require the leaders of the Arab and Islamic worlds to work together toward laying down foundations and principles that reflect their shared vision and common interests.

The adoption by the Arab League Council, at its most recent ministerial session, of the resolution entitled "Joint Vision for Security and Cooperation in the Region", constitutes a nucleus upon which to build, with the aim of reaching an Arab and Islamic consensus on a governing framework for regional security and cooperation, and establishing the necessary mechanisms to address the critical juncture the region is going through, so as to prevent any party from exercising regional hegemony or imposing unilateral security arrangements that would undermine the security and stability of Arab and Islamic nations, El-Sisi underlined.

He stressed that Israel must realize that its security and safety will never be achieved through policies of force and aggression, but rather through adherence to international law and respect for the sovereignty of Arab and Islamic nations. The sovereignty of those states cannot be violated under any pretext; these are principles that are non-negotiable.

The entire world must recognize that Israel's policies are undermining prospects for peace in the region, flouting international law, established norms, and humanitarian values, El-Sisi said, before cautioning that the persistence of such conduct will only bring further tension and instability to the entire region, an approach that will have grave repercussions for global security.

What is unfolding now undermines the future of peace, jeopardizes the security of all nations in the region, putting hitches in front of any chance for new peace deals, and even aborting the existing peace deals with the nations of the region.

The consequences then will be dire, with the region dragged back into the atmosphere of conflict, the loss of historic efforts to build peace, and the undoing of gains that were achieved from it, a price that will be paid without exception. Efforts of forefathers for peace must not go in vain, and regret at that time would be futile, he said.

El-Sisi emphasized Egypt's flat-out rejection of targeting civilians, as well as the policy of collective punishment and starvation practiced by Israel throughout the past two years against the Palestinian people in the Gaza enclave, which led to dozens of thousands of innocent civilian victims.

Military solutions and upending mediation efforts, in addition to finding replacements to impose the status quo through sheer force, won't achieve security for any party, El-Sisi said, before adding that Egypt will continue its enduring support for the resilience of the Palestinian people on their territories, as well as their adherence to their identity and legitimate rights.

He underlined that this will be accomplished under international law to confront any attempt that compromises these unalienable rights, whether through settlement activities, annexation, displacement, and so forth, or any kind of uprooting of the Palestinians from their land under various pretexts and justifications, which cannot be accepted under any circumstances.

Egypt reiterates its unequivocal pushback against any proposals that would lead to the displacement of Palestinians from their land. Such propositions have no legal or moral foundation and will only serve to expand the scope of the conflict, an outcome that would destabilize the entire region, he pointed out.

El-Sisi further stressed that the time has come to address the Palestinian issue with seriousness and decisiveness, recognizing it as the key to stability in the region, emphasizing that a just and comprehensive solution to the central issue of the Arab and Islamic worlds must be based on ending the occupation and establishing an independent Palestinian state along the June 4, 1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

He highlighted that Egypt aspires to the Two-State Solution Conference, slated for Sept. 22, on the margins of the high-level segment of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, serving as a pivotal milestone on the path toward achieving a just and sustainable solution to the Palestinian issue.

This is particularly crucial through the recognition of the State of Palestine. Egypt reiterated its call for the immediate recognition of the State of Palestine by all countries that have not yet taken this step, as the only means to preserve the two-state solution, he noted.

El-Sisi went on to emphasize that the Arab and Islamic worlds are facing a critical moment that requires their unity to serve as a fundamental anchor in addressing the challenges confronting the two regions, stressing that this unity is essential to ensure non-slippage into further chaos and conflicts, and to prevent the imposition of regional arrangements that contradict their shared interests and vision.

The message is crystal clear: any violation of the nations' sovereignty, or allowing the failure of peace efforts, will not be accepted. All nations will stand side by side in defending Arab and Islamic rights, foremost among them the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state and to live in freedom, dignity, and security, His Excellency stressed.

Finally, HE President El-Sisi stressed that there must be a shift in how the enemy perceives the region, so that it recognizes that any Arab nation, with its territory spanning from the Atlantic to the Gulf and its umbrella encompassing all Islamic nations and peace-loving countries, is a force that cannot be ignored.

He evinced that changing this perception requires decisive policies and recommendations, implemented with sincerity and genuine commitment, so that every aggressor is deterred, and any would-be adventurer thinks twice.

At this critical historical moment, it is imperative to establish an Arab-Islamic mechanism for coordination and cooperation, enabling the region collectively to confront the major security, as well as the surrounding political and economic challenges, El-Sisi said.

He added that setting up such a mechanism now is the path to strengthening the region's front and ability to tackle current challenges and taking all necessary measures to protect security and shared interests, affirming that Egypt, as always, extends its hand to any sincere effort that achieves a just peace and reinforces the security and stability of the Arab and Islamic worlds.

At the very outset of his remarks, President El-Sisi extended his sincere gratitude to HH the Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, for hosting this pivotal summit, convening at an exceptionally critical moment, and amid formidable challenges facing the region, which Israel seeks to turn into an open arena for attacks, threatening stability across the entire region and constituting a serious breach of international peace and security, as well as the international rules-based order.
