Two major concerts to be held as Shop Qatar enters final week

Shop Qatar has entered its final week of exciting retail offers, in-mall activities and entertainment for all ages. Up until January 20, residents and visitors still have a chance to shop at bargain prices at any of the 13 participating malls and The Pearl-Qatar where retailers offering discounts of up to 50 percent as well as special promotions.

For every QR200 spent, shoppers can enter the festival’s mega raffle draw for a chance to win cash prizes of Q10,000, QR50,000 and QR100,000 as well as 2019 models of Jaguar E-PACE, Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Discovery Sport.

Noor Al Thani from Qatar National Tourism Council commented, “As the festival nears its end, we are looking forward to the grand finale celebrations and would like to invite everyone who has been part of this festival to come out and join us.”

To wrap up the 35 days of shopping and fashion-forward festivities, the Shop Qatar closing ceremony will take place at Doha Festival City on the evening of January 20 at the mall’s luxury hall.The grand finale is set to include a mega raffle draw taking place from 8pm to 9pm followed by a free performance by rising Qatari singer Aisha Aziani at 9.45pm.

Famous American pop/rock music sensations Bazzi and Boyce Avenue are taking to the QNCC’s stage on Thursday from 7pm to 11pm. Tickets are available on Qtickets at QR275 (General) and QR550 (Premium).

And, the young Bollywood ace singer Arijit Singh is coming to Qatar for his much-anticipated performance on Friday at Lusail Sports Arena. Tickets range from QR100 to QR2,500 with VIP Box packages selling for QR10,000 (8 seats) and QR12,000 (11 seats) and are on sale on Wanasa Time.
