Doha: Minipolis, part of Palma Group, organised various number of activities for its visitors on National Sport Day. On this occasion, Dr Tahani Saker, CEO of Palma Group, said: “It is our hope that the NSD kick-starts an active and healthy lifestyle among all residents, as well as inspires young people across our nation to be Qatar’s future Olympic heroes.
“Our participation in National Sport Day reflects the county’s deep belief in the importance of fitness and sport for healthier bodies and more active minds. I am glad that so many citizens and residents came out and actively participated in our events with their children on the occasion of Qatar National Sport Day. Being a children entertainment centre, this participation further demonstrates our keenness and commitment to supporting Qatar’s vision of building a healthy society to meet the country’s growth and development goals as envisioned in the Qatar National Vision 2030,” she added.
She stressed that Minipolis will be part of the National Sport Day every year. We hope that exercising will not be limited to this day and it will be a daily habit. Children Entertainment Centres participation in the National Sports is very important, it has a very positive impact on the performance of future generations. The contribution of Minipolis stems from our belief of this event and its importance for a healthy life.
Minipolis organised several activities including wall climbing, sack race, musical chair race and bowling. These events continued until the evening.
