Doha: Ooredoo Qatar is showcasing its ICT solutions at Milipol Qatar 2021, the regional event dedicated to homeland security. The event will conclude on Wednesday.
Ooredoo’s comprehensive suite of ICT solutions, which are capable of fully securing operations and monitoring a customer’s infrastructure to mitigate risks, are on display at three prominently positioned booths at the event.
Internet of Things solutions highlighted at the event includes IoT Connect. This service enables companies to track and manage all their networked devices, tracking tools and products online, measuring data bandwidth consumption, and flagging international roaming connections. The Fleet Management solution, developed to allow companies to manage their field teams, enables identifying and dispatching the closest and most skilled drivers with trips and activities recorded. Therefore, service calls and fulfillment per day can be increased through better planning and control of vehicles and workforces.
A raft of Managed Security solutions on show includes Qatar’s first end-to-end Web Application Firewall, a fully managed cloud-based service designed to protect digital presence and assets from cyber-threats such as automated bot and injection attacks, as well as application-layer denial of service. Event attendees can explore the most comprehensive suite of security services in Qatar through the display of Ooredoo’s Security Operations Centre, while they can discover a new approach to user protection from emerging cyber threats with Cloud Web Security.
A suite of world-class solutions to monitor network availability, analyse network security in real-time and provide mitigation systems to enable companies and enterprises to shield their network operations is showcased with Ooredoo’s Direct Denial of Service solution.
A third booth invites visitors to explore Ooredoo’s Azure services, offering the capability to scale up or scale down to continuously meet changing business needs while ensuring that IT costs and services are constantly aligned with business demand. Those looking to back up critical data can find out more about the Cloud Backup solution while integrating and protecting the most valuable data is on offer with Ooredoo’s Cyber Recovery Solution.
CEO at Ooredoo Qatar Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulla Al Thani said, “We are proud to partner with Milipol Qatar on an event crucial for our country and our businesses, in a climate where we face more sophisticated and frequent cyber-attacks. Our corporate strategy incorporates a commitment to complete digitalisation and comprehensive support for Qatar National Vision 2030, with Digital a core element of our strategy going forward. Shining a spotlight on our ICT solutions at such an event allows us to demonstrate this commitment and support and convey to our customers the many ways in which we can help them build solid defences against cyber-threats and protect their enterprises as we progress as a country towards realising the many digital goals of the Vision.”
