New York: The Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the United Nations (UN), HE Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani met with the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov, at the Permanent Mission in New York.
During the meeting, HE the Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to the UN reiterated the State of Qatar's condemnation of the ongoing Iranian attacks on Qatari territory, referring in this context to UN Security Council Resolution 2817 (2026), which condemned Iranian attacks on the territories of the Gulf Cooperation Council member states and called for their immediate cessation.
For his part, HE the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic affirmed his country's solidarity with the State of Qatar, highlighting the importance of consolidating security and stability in the region.
