Doha, Qatar: QatarDebate Center has concluded its Summer Debate Camp (Arabic), held at the Center’s headquarters in Education City, with the participation of children aged between 10 and 13 years.
Held over four days, the Arabic-language training programme focused on introducing participants to the fundamentals of debating, thought-structuring skills, building arguments, and expressing ideas clearly, all whilst learning through training and practice.
The final day featured an educational film screening followed by a discussion of the issues addressed by the film.
Moreover, a mini closing tournament consisting of three rounds was also held, allowing participants to apply the skills they had acquired in a competitive environment.
QatarDebate Center’s Elite Academy programme graduate, coach Farah Al Harbi supervised the summer camp and was supported by six members of the Al Adaam debate team and university debaters.
