Ooredoo held a two-day blood donation drive to encourage employees to donate blood and support the local community. The drive saw large numbers of eligible Ooredoo employees turn out to donate blood in order to help patients at local clinics and hospitals.
The blood donation drives — an annual commitment for Ooredoo — were held at the telecoms leader’s two headquarters sites on September 5 and 10, 2019, and were arranged in partnership with Hamad Medical Centre’s Blood Donation Centre.
HMC visited both Ooredoo’s headquarters, in West Bay and Airport Road, with everything necessary to collect blood on site, making donation a quick and easy process for Ooredoo employees.
